na_messages - record of recent console messages
/etc/messages
The default behavior of the filer syslogd daemon (see
na_syslogd(8)) is to print all logging messages of priority
info or higher to the console, and to the messages
file. A typical message is:
Fri Jun 10 14:31:37 PDT 2005 [rc]: NetApp Release
7.1 boot complete.
Every Saturday at 24:00, /etc/messages is moved to
/etc/messages.0, /etc/messages.0 is moved to /etc/messages.1,
and so on. Message files are saved for a total
of six weeks.
