rdate hostname
rdate sends a request to the time server on hostname and
sets the local date and time to the value returned by the
server. rdate will time out if the server doesn't respond
in 10 seconds.
rdate can be added to /etc/rc to automatically synchronize
the system time with the time server on each reboot.
You cannot use the rdate command in partner mode to synchronize
the time of the partner with a time server.
