The priv command manages the privilege level associated
with the current login session.
Possible privilege levels are
admin (includes normal administrative commands)
and
advanced (includes potentially dangerous commands
that should be used under guidance from Network
Appliance Global Services).
The advanced privilege level includes everything in the
admin level.
Subcommands privset [ priv-level ]
Sets the per-connection privilege setting
to the one specified. If no priv-level is
given, admin is used.
privhelp
Displays usage information and the list of
possible privilege levels.
Options
-q
Enables "quiet" mode. Normally, when
enabling advanced privileges, the priv command
prints a warning message; this option
suppresses the warning.
toaster> priv set advanced
Warning: These advanced commands are potentially dangerous; use
them only when directed to do so by Network Appliance
personnel.
