NAME

dlpi_mactype - convert a DLPI MAC type to a string  

SYNOPSIS

cc [ flag ... ] file ... -ldlpi [ library ... ]

DESCRIPTION

The dlpi_mactype() function returns a pointer to a string that describes the specified mactype. Possible MAC types are defined in <sys/dlpi.h>. The string is not dynamically allocated and must not be freed by the caller.  

RETURN VALUES

Upon success, the function returns a pointer string that describes the MAC type. If mactype is unknown, the string "Unknown MAC Type" is returned.
